Support HRBPs in gathering departmental needs and coordinating the execution of HR initiatives. Assist with job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication. Coordinate onboarding, probation tracking, and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience. Assist with performance management activities, including goal collection, timeline coordination, and documentation. Support employee relations matters by preparing documentation, gathering information, and assisting with preliminary investigations under HRBP guidance. Help organize employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities. Coordinate training programs, including collecting training needs, scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and summarizing feedback. Prepare and maintain HR records and support basic HR data tracking, reporting, and analysis. Assist in updating HR policies, procedures, and compliance materials, and support their implementation. Handle administrative tasks and coordination projects as assigned by the HRBP.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 0–2 years of HR experience; internships in HR, recruitment, or administration are an asset. Strong communication and coordination skills with a service-oriented approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with an HRIS or ATS is an asset. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly in documentation and data management. Ability to learn quickly, manage competing priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of employment standards and labour laws preferred. Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality.
