Coordinate and book appointments for the interdisciplinary team Register and intake new patients Manage a multi-line telephone system, including scheduling and responding to inquiries Greet patients and provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone Notify patients of appointments, recalls, referrals, and diagnostic tests as required Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times Support clinical staff with basic tasks such as stocking exam rooms Assist management with assigned projects and administrative tasks Perform other duties as assigned
Diploma or certificate in Medical Office Administration or a related field preferred Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is an asset Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a high volume of calls and patient interactions Knowledge of medical terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with TELUS Practice Solutions EMR is an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and punctuality Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is considered an asset
