Provide general accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical support Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records Prepare and execute accounts payable and receivable, vendor invoices and payments. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements Reconcile accounts in a timely manner Enter key data of financial transactions in the database Research, track and restore accounting or documentation discrepancies
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting role calculating and processing bills, invoices, accounts payable and receivable, general bookkeeping, budgets and other financial records/reporting Must be competent with MS Office, Excel, databases and accounting software Relevant accounting/finance education Insurance Brokerage background and Power Broker an asset. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files Fluently in Mandarin, Cantonese and English is an asset
