Local city transport and pick up of construction building product from Company’s primary head office to customer site
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in accordance with Company’s shipping standards
Conduct and perform daily pre-start commercial vehicle inspections with completion of necessary repairs to vehicle to ensure operational safety
Maintain appropriate logbooks in accordance with Transport Canada guidelines
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Report defects, accidents, or violations to management in accordance with the company’s Reporting & Investigation practices.
