Installing software on computers, including operating systems, applications software, security software, and other programs Repairing network servers including replacing hard drives or adding new memory Installing computer hardware such as printers and scanners Diagnosing and troubleshooting computer problems by testing hardware components and software applications Configuring computer networks by installing network cabling, routers, modems, and other equipment Installing new computer systems such as desktops and laptops in businesses or individual homes Maintaining computer equipment by ensuring that it is kept clean and operational at all times Performing repairs on broken computer components such as motherboards, processors, hard drives, and power supplies Keeping track of inventory of computer hardware such as monitors, keyboards, mice, and other equipment Organizing, managing, and Updating IT documents.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
CompTIA A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is preferred
At least 3-5 year of experience as a computer technician or in a similar role
Proficiency in computer operating systems, such as MS Windows, MAC OS, and Linux
Exceptional working knowledge of computer systems, including networks, servers, and system maintenance
Good understanding of computer equipment, including laptops, servers, printers, and routers
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
The ability to stay up to date with the latest advancements in hardware and software
Encourage team interaction, boost employee motivation and appreciate team contribution Ability to match project tasks with opportunities for development so that employee potential is utilised to the maximum Management and leadership skills
Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
Previous experience in computer hardware field is required Previous experience in motherboard soldering is an asset Be a graduate of electronic engineering, Mechanical engineering is an asset
A+ certificate is desirable Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to avoid potential injury and hazards when working in warehouse
