Maintain transit reporting, tracking, and tracing. Check bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents Communicate with suppliers in China, freight forwarders in China and Canada, customs brokers, delivery companies etc. Book space based on expected cargo arrival date requirement. Arrange cargo pick-ups from factories in China and other countries. Check shipping documents to ensure special documents like DGM meet carriers’ requirement. Ensure all cargo arrival as scheduled. Ensure Excise Tax Stamps delivery as requests and part of Chain of Custody group. Provide daily cargo status update. Provide shipments report to support data analysis. Become the key stakeholder in any new product launch projects. Partner with other support functions within the Boat Group, including PMO, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain. Support special projects as necessary. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Global Logistics Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities to accomplish objectives and goals anticipating and adjusting for problems and interruptions/roadblocks. Proactive problem solving and situational analysis and must be able to manage a large portfolio and be solution orientated. Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools. Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced supply-chain environment. Fluent in Mandarin speaking and writing. Experience working with China logistics. Accommodate working with China partners in their working hours. Business trip to China 20% annual
