– Manage day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including account payable, account receivables, cash receipts etc. – Handle monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, including journal entries, intercompany allocation, account reconciliation, closing report etc. – Prepare, consolidate and analyse financial statements and prepare financial reports for management – Perform GST/HST filling, monthly tax returns and compliance with tax regulations – Handle bi-weekly/monthly payroll – Prepare monthly/annual budgets and forecasting – Work closely with internal and external parties – Performs ad-hoc duties as assigned
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum of 2 years’ experience – Proficiency in using Quickbook accounting software – Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting requirements and tax regulations – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Strong problem-solving abilities – Detail-oriented, proactive and able to multi-task Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) Experience: Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
