Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas. Schedule and confirm appointments Engage with students, providing detailed insights into our admission process. Assist in the admissions process, conduct admissions interviews, and facilitate the processing of paperwork for accepted students, ensuring a smooth transition into the academic community. Perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, correspondence preparation, mail, filing, ordering supplies, and creating and maintaining electronic and hard copy files. Updating student files as necessary. Contribute to student recruitment efforts by coordinating engaging promotional events and facilitating campus tours. Serve as a reliable point of contact for students, offering guidance through the application and acceptance journey. Provides guidance on a full range of admissions services and support such as general and program specific admissions information, available programs, alternate offers of admission, admission timelines and other related policies and procedures to prospects, applicants, current students and other stakeholders. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records. Manage office correspondence, including emails and physical mail. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents. Complete basic accounting tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Support administrative staff with various tasks as required. Order office supplies and maintain inventory Plan / Arrange/Host meetings, events
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is required. Chinese speaking required College diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software. Strong typing skills with attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Friendly, nurturing, yet professional demeanor. Critical thinking Good communication skills and patience with students/clients Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. Good English speaking and writing skills; multilinguistic skills will be an asset.
