Engage prospective clients through cold calling and networking activities Maintain relationships and build business with new clients Work with CRM (Customer Relationship Management software) Managing customer relationships and entering data Contact at least 50 potential customers either face to face or on the phone. Provide customer service and develop business relationships with customers. Provide clients customized solutions to transportation needs and related issues Negotiate pricing to service all prospect and client’s needs Develop new leads, and follow-up with prospective sales leads in the Freight industry, coordinating with Freight Brokers and direct-Shippers. Negotiate rates and assign carriers to customer’s shipments Evaluating/discovering potential business opportunities Prepare freight quotations to clients Provide quotes to customers
Working experience in Freight broker and logistics industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outbound call experience Customer service skills Knowledge and understanding of trucking operations & logistics Have a thorough understanding of rating, gross profit and have geographical knowledge Solid networking skills Sales experience in logistics and trucking industry is an asset. Existing customer base is an asset.
