Familiarity with Quickbooks or other accounting softwares. Should be able to create and manage customer and vendor files in Quickbooks. Creating invoices based on Purchase Order or Sales Confirmation Entering bills Manage accounts receivable / collection by sending statements and following up on payments Perform Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation & HST filing Develop and maintain excel reports including Sales report, Commission payable, Payroll, etc Organise and maintain filing system Administration Manage visitors and calls Book courier, express service Order or purchase office supplies Assist with Amazon orders including label creation Assist in ad hoc projects Sales and Marketing Assist with product catalog updates Other minor sales and marketing tasks
2 years of work experience as an accounting assistant or accounting clerk. Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures. Familiarity with basic finance regulations. Good math skills and attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel & Powerpoint. Familiar with QuickBooks online or desktop. BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
