Project Management Skills: must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with other professionals. Prepares sketches or other visual aids to demonstrate preliminary designs to client. Business Skills: must have strong business acumen to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and market their services to potential clients. Flexibility: must be adaptable and able to work with a variety of clients and project types, including residential, commercial, and institutional. Attention to Detail: must have a keen eye for detail to ensure that their designs are executed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Basic understanding of building codes and inspection regulations related to interiors.
