Tenant Engagement & Communication Serve as the primary liaison between tenants, site staff, and project stakeholders Post multilingual notices and updates in accessible locations Support monthly tenant tea sessions, open houses, and engagement events Develop entry schedules and ensure advance communication with tenants Coordinate with security and labour teams to support tenant needs Resident Support & Sensitivity Monitor and respond to tenant inquiries, complaints, and accessibility issues Collaborate with mental health/security staff to manage concerns with empathy and discretion Track and follow up on resident issues to ensure closure Identify tenants requiring higher levels of support and adjust communication methods accordingly Provide compassionate de-escalation and support when construction impacts resident well-being Logistics & Coordination Maintain construction access logs, appointment schedules, and resident feedback tracking Escalate technical or schedule issues to appropriate project contacts Liaise with external organizations (e.g., ERA Architects, WoodGreen Community Services) Ensure public safety and clear signage in work zones within the building
Must-Haves: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and scheduling skills Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure Confidence managing logistics, schedules, and multiple stakeholder needs Comfort working full-time on-site at a downtown Toronto high-rise Available to work on-site full-time for the full 20-month duration of the contract Nice-to-Haves: Multilingual skills (Cantonese or Mandarin) Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) Experience working in occupied residential retrofits, property management, or nonprofit housing Background in community engagement, social services, or mental health support
