Oversee all accounting operations of the U.S. entity, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes. Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with? U.S. GAAP . Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state tax regulations and support external audits. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and internal financial analysis to guide decision-making. Liaise with the Canadian head office to align financial reporting and policies across borders. Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies. Support intercompany transactions, transfer pricing documentation, and cash flow management.
CPA designation (U.S. or Canadian CPA with U.S. GAAP experience strongly preferred). Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to? cross-border or multinational operations . Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax requirements. Experience with QuickBooks. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Must be able to work? on-site in Canada ?(no remote work option). Legally authorized to work in Canada.
