Develop and optimize product description for listing: new product description and related content; translate existing English description into Canadian French; Optimize product manual: ensures language accuracy, concise, well written and localized; Customer experience improvement: Make suggestions on product image and video optimization; expands (increases) ways to enhance customer experience by improving content; Assist the Marketing team with various writing projects Attend meeting with HQ on topics relate to copy-writing and content developing Maintain copywriter’s content database Ad-hoc tasks related to copywriter
College degree majoring in English, French, Advertising, Marketing, Communications or Journalism, or equivalent education background Previous experience working in a high-volume environment is a plus Minimum 2 years copy-writing experience in a marketing capacity Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English and French Creative writing samples that demonstrate originality, innovation, problem-solving, personal expression and results-oriented content Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other applications Well-read with PR or other professional writing experiences preferred Marketing experience working in a B2C industry as well as experience working in a fast-paced and e-commerce environment, a plus Strong self-motivation and team spirits; Must be bilingual (English & French)
