Review, prepare, and process import and export customs documentation. Accurately complete customs entries in accordance with Canadian customs regulations. Monitor shipment clearance status and follow up on customs inspections, document requests, amendments, and releases. Communicate with customers, trucking companies, warehouses, customs brokers, and internal departments. Maintain accurate records and perform daily data entry in customs and logistics systems. Resolve shipment and customs clearance issues in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with company policies and CBSA regulations.
Previous experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, international logistics, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of Canadian customs clearance procedures and regulations. Experience using the CANDATA system is considered an asset. CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) designation is an asset. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
